Matthias Küntzel is a political scientist who lives in Germany and is a research associate at the Vidal Sassoon International Centre for the Study of Antisemitism at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His new book, Jihad and Jew-Hatred: Islamism, Nazism and the Roots of 9/11, recently won the London Book Festival Prize. Dr. Küntzel will trace the connection between National Socialism and Islamism, and he will demonstrate that anti-Semitism is no mere afterthought of modern jihadism, but its defining ideological core.
